Anthony Johnson is an emerging film composer and orchestrator with a propensity for writing music in a broad range of musical styles and genres. A recent graduate of Berklee College of Music, he studied film scoring, game and interactive media scoring, and musical theater writing. He enjoys collaborating closely with filmmakers, screenwriters, and lyricists to create original music that deepens emotional arcs and supports storytelling.

His musical perspective is shaped by a wide array of influences — including classical works, jazz standards, world folk traditions, and the soulful funk and electro hip hop of the b-boy crew community he was part of in his youth. With a background in musical theater performance, where he earned national recognition as a singer and actor, he brings a nuanced sense of character, expression, and pacing to his scoring work.

Outside of composing music, he sings in ensembles, plays ocarina, enjoys cooking and stand-up comedy, and has a lifelong love of aviation.
