Biography

Anže Rozman is a three-time Emmy-nominated composer of film, television and concert music and part of the Bleeding Fingers Music composer collective.

Known for his ability to play custom-built and one-of-a-kind instruments from around the world, Anže has scored a wide range of award-winning projects. Among the most notable are the Jon Favreau-produced and David Attenborough-narrated Apple TV+ series Prehistoric Planet, which he scored alongside Hans Zimmer and Kara Talve; and Netflix’s Beckham documentary, co-scored with Camilo Forero. Both scores were nominated for an Emmy in the category of Best Original Score in a Documentary Series or Special. Other notable projects include BBC’s The Universe and The Planets, as well as the theme for Frozen Planet II, co-composed with Hans Zimmer.

In the realm of concert music, Anže is recognized for his orchestral and flute compositions, which have been performed by esteemed ensembles such as the London Studio Orchestra, Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Tonhalle Orchestra of Zürich, Krakow Philharmonic Orchestra, Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra and RTV Orchestra of Slovenia.

In 2018, Anže was invited by Hans Zimmer to join Bleeding Fingers after being impressed by his Berklee College of Music final project. Anže earned his Master’s in scoring for film, TV and video games from Berklee Valencia, Spain after completing a degree in composition and music theory at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana under Jani Golob.
