Diego Cantú is a composer, arranger and orchestrator.

He started playing piano from an early age until graduating with a degree in composition. He has taken production, harmony and composition classes with 5-time Emmy Award Winning, José Cancela, as well as Dirk Ehler, Tony Domenech and orchestration with Eduardo Caballero.

Diego specializes in creating musical themes that give characters their identity and bring emotional depth to every scene.

His approach centers on the narrative power of music—supporting the image when dialogue fades and translating visual emotions into sounds the audience can truly feel. He works with dedication, attention to detail, and full respect for the director’s vision.

His goal is to collaborate with filmmakers seeking to elevate their projects with an original, authentic score—carefully crafted to serve the story they want to tell.

Along with composer and drummer Mago Gutiérrez, they are the main composers of Arto Sonido Studio.
