Biography

Samantha Williams is a film and media composer born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. Her recent experience includes custom trailer work and music production for Olivier & Tony award-winning company AF creative media. She recently wrapped a project with RedBull media house, being selected as a composer/producer on their album release “The Orchestrals II”. She was flown to Vienna, Austria to record at the world-renowned Synchron Stage and produce the track. “Helix” was further mixed in Dolby Atmos with Samantha and the team and is released on all streaming platforms as well as licensed to BMG production music for sync purposes. Summer 2025. Samantha also wrote additional music in the documentary NOVA special “Sea Change: The Gulf of Maine” which aired nationwide on PBS summer of 2024. 

Nominated for best score for her work on “Juno: The Graveyard of Memories” (Dir. Tariq Stone) at the Berklee Film Scoring Network Festival, Samantha has created her compositional foundation working on various short films from film schools across the country. She’s worked on Films from California College of the Arts, Rochester Institute of Technology, Rhode Island School of Design, Mass Art, Emerson College, San Francisco State University, and Maryland Institute College of Art. Through her close collaborations with film directors and artists, Samantha has established herself as a composer that’s “pushing creative boundaries’’ (Director. Boxi Chen) and dedicated to achieving excellence in her work.
