Biography
Despite her hearing disability, or maybe because of it, Peregrine developped a keen interest in the audiovisual medium. While pursuing a Masters degree in theoretical physics, she joined a filmmaking club and began to not only direct short films but also teach herself how to write music for them.
After completing the Film Scoring Summer Program in 2020 and Danielle Kuntz' harp writing workshop in 2021, Peregrine has composed music for over a dozen short student films. Her first EP soft & tumble was released in 2023 in collaboration with jazz singer Marta Garrett.
