I’m Victor Xue, a film and game composer. I graduated from Berklee College of Music and am currently pursuing my graduate studies in Screen Scoring at USC.
I have received multiple awards, including first place in the 2020 MTNA Composition Competition (Massachusetts State) and the 2024 Ryan Leach Composition Competition. My work spans various media, from orchestral scores to electronic and pop productions, making me a versatile composer with a keen sense of musical storytelling. My compositions have a unique style with memorable motifs that seamlessly integrate with visuals, enhancing the immersive experience of films and games.
I have worked as a composer’s assistant, orchestrator, and music producer. I orchestrated for Nancy Li on a feature film called MuMu and served as the lead composer for “Win Glory in Battle,” the promotional film for the FIRST International Film Festival. I also worked on various projects including short films, commercials and animations. Additionally, I have collaborated with artists as a songwriter, producer, and mixing engineer, with my tracks amassing over million streams.
I believe that music has the power to elevate narratives and immerse audiences, whether in film, games, or multimedia experiences. Always eager to push creative boundaries, I am open to new collaborations that bring compelling stories to life through music.
