Josh Taylor is not your typical composer. Before crafting cinematic soundscapes, he was setting stages on fire—literally and figuratively—as a punk band musician. Now, he channels that same raw energy and genre-blending mentality into film scores that defy expectations. Whether it’s the soaring elegance of classical, the pulse of electronic, the grit of rock, or the unpredictable edge of avant-garde, Josh seamlessly fuses sounds into immersive sonic storytelling.

His acting background gives him a unique edge in scoring for media, allowing him to compose with a deep understanding of narrative, emotion, and timing. You may know his work from Bare Knuckle (2014) and Puppets in Space!! (2013), but his sonic footprint extends far beyond the screen.  As of fall 2025 is currently scoring the feature Directors' Commentary from Pentameter Productions.
