Sjoerd Limberger

Sjoerd is a Dutch composer, multi-instrumentalist, arranger and music producer based in Amsterdam, working across film, television, games, and global brands including Nike, Armani, and La Prairie. Rooted in narrative, his approach stems from an early life in the Netherlands where he learned to experience music through the stories his parents would tell alongside it, a quality that runs through everything he creates. He values the human element above all: the raw energy of a live recording session, the spontaneous moments musicians bring to a room, and the way a piece can shift entirely through real-time inspiration. Whether scoring a game world or a cinematic moment, he builds music that carries emotional weight and leaves room for the listener's own interpretation.

Moving fluidly between classical instrumentation and electronic sound design, his work reflects a deep sensitivity to image, space, and storytelling, bridging intimate human nuance with expansive sonic worlds.
