Biography

Andrés is a Colombian/American composer, arranger, and orchestrator based in Los Angeles who has worked on major Hollywood productions through JoAnn Kane Music Service, contributing to blockbuster films like the recent Star Wars trilogy, Frozen 2, and Toy Story 4, as well as collaborating with orchestrator Tim Davies on projects including The Lego Movie 2 and Ant-Man and the Wasp. Beyond his Hollywood work, he serves as lead orchestrator for German composer Anne-Kathrin Dern on Netflix films and for Nickelodeon composer Jonathan Hylander on No Time to Spy: A Loud House Movie and an upcoming Christmas 2025 release, has orchestrated Colombian films including the Cannes-selected Alias Maria, and released his instrumental album Doorways in 2021 featuring over 90 musicians recorded across Los Angeles, Bogotá, New York and Budapest. His diverse portfolio spans from major studio films and streaming projects to independent features, while maintaining strong ties to his Colombian roots as a founding member and long-time arranger for The Bogotá Symphony Orchestra, where his symphonic arrangements of Colombian music have been performed nationally and broadcast on television.
