Biography
Benoît Vanhoffelen is a French Film and Game music composer.
He was born in 1991 in Orsay, and started making music very early at the age of 5 years old, learning piano and music theory. First in Lyon, where he began his musical training, then in Paris, where his first adventures began as a music composer.
Today, he is best known for his compositions for the role-playing game Heartless (Julien Pirou, Studio Limbic Entertainment, 2023), the acclaimed soundtrack for Le Donjon Escape Game (Paris 9th, 2021 from now), and the score for the documentary Sur les Pas de l'Histoire (Musées de France, July 2024).
He also composed the soundtrack for the historical TV documentary Le Mystère des Supplicées d'Orléans (MDAM Prod., France 3, 2026) and for the very well received game City Tales: Medieval Era (Irregular Shape, 2025).More recently, Benoît composed the soundtrack for the Sea Shepherd France and We Whale documentary "Espartes, Chronicles of the Iberian Orca" (coming soon in festivals).
