
Paolo Funari is an Italian composer, guitarist and vocalist with a unique cinematic music language. He blends soundscapes, acoustic instruments, and synths with his songwriting skills. He currently scores the independent film "A Denti Stretti."
His musical sensitivity merges with the strength and inspiration that he finds in his life. His artistry is fueled by his drive to experiment. He often samples sounds from industrial environments that he uses in his compositions. Paolo writes songs and performs in a Hard Rock band in Tuscany and effectively blends these sounds into his scores.
He perfected his film scoring skills through several advanced programs at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, working with industry professionals such as Lawrence Shragge, Patrick Kirst, and Pete Anthony. He was mentored by Fabrizio Mancinelli.
He has taken part in several competitions and was selected as a finalist at the Apulia Soundtracks Awards 2025.
