Biography
My love for music started at an early age. I picked up the violin around age 8 and started my shower singer phase around 12. I grew up listening to Jazz, Motown, Gospel, Funk, Rock, Classical, and Reggae music. My song writing process starts acapella. I start with a melody and then move to the lyrics. I use this foundation to shape the instrumentation. I work closely with my producer and together we shape the final sound to fit my inspiration. Some of my artist inspirations are Lianne La Havas, John Legend, Al Green, Allen Stone, Sam Cooke, John Mayer, Moses Sumney, Emily King, and Alex Isley. I started releasing original music in 2021 and I’m working on my first full body of work, “Still Waters”, which is set to release March of 2025. “Springtime Summertime” is the first of the singles off the new project. “Springtime Summertime” is a vibrant and uplifting track that encapsulates the essence of the transition from the fresh blooms of spring to the warm carefree days of summer. I have two more releases this year, "Decompress" and "Refresh" set to release 8/16 and 9/23.
