Biography

Bryan Morgan is an African-American music educator, composer, and arranger from Birmingham, Alabama.

His love for music composition came at an early age, as he spent many times on his grandmother’s piano. Throughout his career, he has written and arranged various pieces of music for different ensembles including marching band, concert band, chamber ensembles, and orchestras.

Morgan ventured into scoring for the screen in 2022, as he obtained an Advanced Professional Certificate in Orchestration for Film, TV, and Video Games from Berklee College of Music’s online program. He has had the wonderful opportunity to work on numerous films in his career.

From 2016 to 2023, Morgan was a member of the Music Faculty at Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA). In 2020, he was named the Director of Music.

He earned his Masters in Music Education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and his Masters in Music Theory and Composition Screen Scoring at New York University. Morgan earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Music with a concentration in composition from Duke University. While studying, Morgan also started at Center on the Offensive Line for the Duke Blue Devil Football Team.
