Inspired by Rev. Dr. Otis Moss III's Ebony article, "Losing Daphne" is a short film by Eli Moss that follows a young boy grappling with his sister's paranoid schizophrenia. The film pays tribute to Daphne Moss, my beloved aunt, who inspired many, including my father.
As he remembers her kindness, the film highlights the challenges of mental illness while emphasizing that faith, love, and kindness help us navigate life's changes. Daphne was my father's mentor and hero, touching the lives of all who knew her gentle spirit.
"The depth of God’s love cannot be broken by angels or demons, kidney disease or cancer, HIV/AIDS, schizophrenia or suicide. Nothing can separate us from the love of God." - Otis Moss III
Hi, I'm Octavio Rombolá composer, sound designer, and relentless seeker of meaning through sound.
I approach every project as a living world to decode. I don’t add music - I uncover it. Each score begins with research, empathy, and immersion - because I believe sound should feel inevitable, not decorative.
My background in Music Production and Film Scoring reflects a dual passion: the structure of orchestral tradition and the pulse of contemporary sound. I’m a multi-instrumentalist guided by instinct but anchored in craft - with a studio full of guitars, basses, and analog synths ready to serve the emotional core of your story.
Games excite me because they breathe. They let music evolve with the player - intimate, reactive, and raw. And whether it’s a trailer, a cinematic, or a subtle UI cue, I treat every moment as an opportunity for storytelling.
I build soundtracks the way architects build spaces - with layers, light, and deliberate silence. My goal is not just to make something good, but something true.
