Haoyu Zheng, is a composer, pianist, vocalist, and improviser currently

based in Baltimore, MD studying at the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins

University for a Master of Music Degree in the major of Music for New Media with a

Graduate Assistantship in Music Theory. He holds a Bachelor of Music Degree at

the New England Conservatory majoring in Composition and Contemporary

Musical Arts, minoring in Music Theory and Music Technology. He is also

passionate about teaching, and interested in Composition for Media. Experience in

Music Technology as an audio engineer as well as working for the IT department at

NEC. Multiple commissioned works that have been seen at venues such as Jordan

Hall and Carnegie Hall.
