Welcome to my Reel! I'm Josh, a composer originally from the most underrated state in the US (NJ) and now  based in LA.

My passion for music is kindled by its capacity to construct a mesmerizing world within a bigger story - a world within a world - that is absolutely unique, brimming with intricate emotional and timbral nuances.

My musical journey began in a basement-band with friends when I was just fourteen years old. Much to my surprise, four years after starting in my friend’s basement I found myself studying composition at Juilliard where I developed my skills and deepened my understanding of music and sound. I later fell in love with recording and production while working as a music producer at Made Music Studio. Discovering the endless possibilities of recording and manipulating sounds in the studio was like adding a whole new dimension to my creative palette. I’m currently working on an MFA in screen scoring at Columbia College in Chicago.

In addition to my love for music, I am passionate about video games and visual art. I usually gravitate toward things that find a way to blend beauty and grotesqueness (something like Takashi Murakami's art) or with a powerful and complicated story leaving me with many questions around morality (Like The Last Of Us)

I believe music can transcend notes, its DNA can weave whole worlds into our hearts. Thank you for listening!
