Darko Malcevic

 Darko Malčević is a composer and music producer from Zagreb, Croatia. He began his musical journey as a trumpeter, spending fifteen years performing in brass orchestras before expanding to piano studies, where he completed his formal education and discovered his passion for composition.

Alongside his classical background, Darko developed a strong interest in digital music production, leading to releases across electronic genres such as deep house, progressive house, melodic techno, and breakbeat. He also founded his own record label, Tekknology Music, and collaborated with various artists across multiple projects and aliases.

With nearly two decades of experience in music production, Darko transitioned into composing for TV & Film, achieving numerous placements through collaborations with several music libraries. His work spans electronic, pop, and corporate styles, as well as cinematic genres including dramedy, tension, crime, and world music.

By blending electronic sound design with acoustic and world instruments, Darko continuously explores new sonic territories and creative approaches.
