About Me
Hello there! I'm Soroosh Mohassesi. I'm an Iranian-Canadian composer, guitarist, and music producer based in Greater Vancouver, Canada.
I have been a musician for most of my life, spending over a decade honing my skills as a guitarist. Over time, I developed a burning passion for composing music of my own, focusing on composing for media (whether that be for games, film, or TV).
With an ecletic knowledge of music, I can create anything from cinematic orchestral music, to aggressive metal, and ambient soundscapes. Even adventurous electronic music.
Aside from composing, I play guitar and bass in multiple rock and metal projects in the Vancouver music scene. And I write music production articles for the likes of BedroomProducersBlog, as well as creating sample libraries for other composers.
Music influences: Anything from Pink Floyd, to Meshuggah, to Aphex Twin, to Olafur Arnalds. And pretty much everything in between
