Micangelo Ferrante is a two-time Emmy-winning film composer and Burbank native. He has scored campaigns for major brands and artists including Post Malone, Amazon, the NFL, the NBA, and for over 55 narrative short films - most recently for Rhys, Zane Zemeckis, and Leslie Zemeckis. Mic’s unique style blends emotionally driven melodic contour, lush orchestral textures, maximized music production grandeur, and a strong sense of narrative tension. His music has been recorded with live orchestras worldwide and featured across major media platforms.
Mic is graduate of the University of Southern California with a B.M. in Classical Composition and an alumnus of the LA Philharmonic Composer Fellowship Program. He was a mentee of A&R Executive John Ehmann through the USC Dean’s Circle Mentorship Program. He is a back to back 2025 & 2026 Los Angeles Emmy winner for his scoring work on the “Arrival of the Trojans” and "Wartime" USC Football hype videos.
A dedicated advocate for music education, Mic has been a longtime volunteer with Education Through Music–LA, working closely with Executive Director Victoria Lanier for the past nine years. When he's not making music, he coaches his Burbank little league football team.
