Christine Stephanie is a composer whose music instantly takes the listener on a journey. Her recent work includes music for The Arbiter (2025; FrightFest London Film Festival), Ratgirl (2025), Sai Bi Dee (2025; Zions International Film Festival), all good (2026; NYC Independent Film Festival), and the upcoming documentary Four Days in June (2026).

Christine writes emotionally resonant scores that blend neoclassical and electronic elements. Her work is defined by a strong narrative perception and instinctive ability to translate complex inner and outer worlds into clear, memorable musical themes.

Christine brings a multidimensional background to her scoring approach. She began playing piano by ear at four and grew up immersed in classical piano and vocal performance, as well as contemporary and ballet dance. These experiences are what now inform her sense of rhythm, movement, and phrasing in her scores.

Prior to composing full-time, she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree and worked in psychology-driven roles in HR and Operations, grounding her in collaboration, communication, and an understanding of human behavior. This lends itself to her ability to interpret directors’ visions clearly and deepen the emotional journey of the characters and stories she scores. (This unique background is what taught her to thrive in (and weirdly love) project management, which serves her and her collaborators well as each project is always on time, if not ahead of schedule. She loves a checked box and gold star.)

Christine’s hybrid composing style emphasizes emotional clarity, subtle motif writing, and textural nuance. She approaches each project with the same process of shaping music through feel and an ability to “follow her gut” when themes begin to emerge. She composes to create moments that help audiences feel, process, and remember.
