My name is Leonardo Porro, a young composer, music producer, and songwriter from Milan, Italy. My musical background dates back to my early years, when I began taking violin lessons at the age of 4. In 2016, I was accepted into the prestigious Berklee College of Music on a composition scholarship and graduated in 2020 with a BA in Contemporary Writing & Production, magna cum laude.
For the past 6 years, I have been working internationally as a freelance songwriter and music producer. This has allowed me to work on countless different genres and projects. Through this work for both independent and signed artists (such as Lina Cooper, Demi the Daredevil, Elisheva, and Jules Walcott), as well as for labels and publishers like Warner Music, ADA Music, The Orchard, Frequency Music, and others, I have accumulated millions of streams.
As for commercial work, I wrote and produced e.g. jingles for the Italian supermarket chain COOP through SCREENPLAY SRL, with the commercials airing on national television and in movie theaters.
I am currently producing and orchestrating, with the Genoa Symphony Orchestra, the musical theater piece composed by Antonio Torella for the Compagnia della Rancia, “FRANCESCO – QUESTO VOGLIO QUESTO CERCO.” This project aims to celebrate the figure of St. Francis of Assisi on the 800th anniversary of his death with a modern musical approach, inspired by masterpieces such as “Hamilton” and “Jesus Christ Superstar,” as well as a contemporary pop production style.
It is also worth mentioning that I reached the semifinals in the Indie Game Music Contest (Winter 2025 Edition) with my demo soundtrack for the upcoming game “SEASONS OF SOLITUDE.”
Of particular interest in 2026 is my current role as film composer on the first horror film by Italian director Federico Rigoldi, as well as my demo soundtrack for the upcoming game "CAT ISLE" placing 4th (as one of the finalists) in the Indie Game Music Contest (Spring 2026 Edition)
