David, Summer, and Alexander are a friendly trio studying at university together, but after an innocent accident correlates with the sudden passing of Alex, David blames himself, straining his relationship with Summer who is struggling with her own grief. Both students need to find a way to communicate with each other while dealing with their sudden loss.
다헌, 여름, 그리고 알렉스는 항상 함께 학교에서 시간을 보내는 절친 사이이다. 평화롭게 즐거운 시간을 보내고 있는 와중, 다헌의 실수로 알렉스가 다치는 사건이 벌어진다. 시간이 흘러, 다헌과 여름은 우연히 알렉스의 부고 소식을 접하게 된다. 다헌은 밀려오는 죄책감에 심각한 불면증을 겪고, 현실을 도피하려 한다. 한편, 여름 또한 죽은 사람과 살아있는 사람 사이에서 나름의 감정적인 파고를 견뎌내기 위해 노력한다. 부재를 피하기 보다는, 힘듦은 공유하자는 일념 하에 여름은 다헌을 찾아다니고, 그제서야 그와 진심 어린 대화를 나눈다.

Director's Statement
... Sindap Station provides a short emotional journey of self-guilt related to death and a clash between different coping mechanisms of grief. Although the story is told in the young eyes of David, on the other side, Summer quietly tries to deal with grief of her own. The concealment of David's thoughts confuses Summer and the audience, and the miscommunication between the two main characters clashes. Just like the “dream” I had in real life, the note from Alex gives a chance for David and Summer to finally connect and open up their feelings.
This film is a message to those who experienced similar guilt and grief: It's okay, “it's not your fault”, and death eventually comes to all. And it's a reminder not just for David and Summer, but for everyone: Processing grief through communication is the key to cope together. If I had known this in real life, I might have dealt with death a little gentler. So I hope this film will somehow find someone to help get back on their feet.
