Jérôme Leroy is a French-American composer who writes and produces original music for film, television, video games, live events, and theme parks.
Jérôme Leroy is an award-winning composer who writes and produces original music for visual media. Originally from Paris, France, Jérôme started his composing career by scoring numerous internationally-recognized short films, and soon after turned to feature films. He has written the music to many films and television productions in a variety of genres, including adventure, fantasy, historical, sports, thrillers and horror.
An avid gamer since the glorious days of MS-DOS, Jerome brought his passion and experience in adaptive and non-linear music to the scores of video games such as Bandai Namco's JUMP FORCE (PS4 / Xbox One), TIME EXPLORER (PC) and MAGIWORDS (iOS), and has orchestrated AAA titles from 2K Games (CIVILIZATION VI) and Tencent (MOONLIGHT BLADE). His involvement in the game industry also includes writing custom music for Riot Games’ short film series for TALES OF RUNETERRA as well as arranging music for the 2017 LEAGUE OF LEGENDS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS.
A life-long believer in the emotional power of live musicians, Jérôme strives to incorporate soloists and orchestral ensembles to all of his projects. He has had the privilege to record at every major scoring stages in Los Angeles, as well as all over the world, including in New York, Nashville, Eastern Europe, London at both Abbey Road Studios and AIR Studios, and Tokyo.
Jérôme, who holds both French and American citizenships, currently lives in the West Adams neighborhood of Los Angeles, California.
