So for the third time I was the musical director for the British animation Awards {01/03/24} and once again what a fantastic evening. This time was a little different as i actually got to play live!
Helen and Kieran are always busy and dashing about as reflected by their walk on music, track 1.
Our presenter for the evening was German Comedian Henning Wehn so his walk on music is track 2.
So the truth is, i've taken up guitar again after a 30 year break and am not very good, but Helen and Kieran asked me to play live during the 'In Memorian' section. So I wrote a requiem for strings and french horn which was a conversation between my guitar and a solo violin. This is track 3 'The final frame'
The rest of the music is all based around guitars due to my renewed interest in playing.
