The Composer.

Jaimie Pangan is a music composer for film, TV, and video games, based in Nashville, Tennessee. Originally hailing from the Philippines, she loves experimenting string sounds with electronic elements and creates hybrid ambient textures that blend with cinematic drama. Prior to pursuing music, Jaimie worked at IBM Philippines as an Information Technology Specialist and has obtained a patent for an AI hit song generator their team developed with IBM Japan and Singapore. After 3 years of working in the tech industry, she pursued music through the Master of Music in Screen Scoring program at the University of Southern California. Some of her musical achievements include being nominated for the Hollywood in Music Media Awards, and was featured in major publications such as Inquirer.net , The Manila Times and When In Manila.

Her credits include original music for projects that have appeared at Academy Award-qualifying film festivals, as well as work in the music departments of major streaming platforms such as Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+. She has also co-created two culturally authentic sample packs for Splice in collaboration with musicians across Asia. A Voting Member of the Recording Academy, GRAMMY NEXT alumna, and BAFTA Connect member, Jaimie served as a juror for the 2024 and 2025 Annie Awards. She is also a member of the Game Audio Network Guild, the Alliance of for Women Film Composers, where she serves as the Graphics Administrative Leader, and the Society of Composers & Lyricists. She is currently working on the music for the Netflix Philippines Film, "Ganito, Ganyan, Ganoon" slated for released in August 2026.

In her free time, she loves reading, dyeing her hair, journaling, hanging out with family and their golden doodle, and playing Pokémon, Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero. As a fan of Japanese culture for the past 20 years, she is currently learning the shamisen under the instruction of famed shamisen player, Sayo Komada.
