Samantha is a New Zealand-born Australian composer based in the United States. She holds a Masters Degree in Scoring for Film & Visual Media from Pulse College Dublin, Ireland. She is also a current BAFTA Connect Member and has been part of the jury for the BAFTA for Best Music in a Video Game 2025.

Her love for games led her into the game industry. Sam is the composer for games including Barbie Rewind, Cloudscape, Petit Island, Love Ghostie, Islands & Trains, Blockfeet, The Regreening and Flowers and Favours. She also works in the music department for various films and TV shows such as Star Wars IX, Avengers: Endgame, Toy Story 4, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and Avatar: the Way of Water. 

The importance of contributing positivity to an uncertain world is reflected in her musical pursuits. Her values align with that of nature, balance, culture, and inclusivity and strives to create safe and accepting places through music in media.

Sam has two pet birds called Indy and Io (aka quality assurance) who listens to her music and approves it before it reaches the client.
