About Piero Ramirez

Based in Seattle, Piero Ramirez is a music composer and video game developer born in Lima, Peru. He is currently a student, and is set to graduate in the spring of 2025 and was a winner of the Game Audio Network Guild (G.A.N.G.) Scholar program in 2024. After coming to the United States in 2019, Piero Ramirez has worked to make his mark in the American music scene, creating numerous compositions spanning a variety of genres. From epic orchestral pieces, to classical jazz, to chiptune, Piero Ramirez has tried his hand at many different styles of music, utilizing DAWs like Cubase and FL Studio.

Piero Ramirez has made music for 4 short films by Rose Windows Studios, a student film studio at Pacific Lutheran University as well as with Quasar Studios from "Universidad de Ciencias y Artes de America Latina (UCAL)" in Peru with "La Madriguera del Conejo”. The film won second place in UNIFEST, a student film festival showcasing creations from all regions of Peru. After receiving this victory “La Madriguera del Conejo” went on to be screened in several Peruvian film events, as well as be streamed on Peruvian national television.

In addition, Piero Ramirez has explored video game development. After teaching himself how to code in Unity and use middlewares such as Wwise and Fmod, Piero Ramirez developed his independent video game in 2024 entitled “No Happy Days”— a short RPG centered on its charming dialogue, story, and music made available for purchase on Steam. “No Happy Days” was made using Unity and Wwise, and was created using his refined audio implementation and coding skills to develop the game to its fullest potential.
