Shengyuan (Eric) Li is a Los Angeles–based composer and music producer working across game, film, animation, and interactive media. He has collaborated with Academy Award–nominated composer Lorne Balfe, contributing to large-scale international productions.

Eric has composed music for major game titles including Arknights, Arknights: Endfield, Love and Deepspace, and Isle of Ether, where his work bridges cinematic orchestral storytelling with modern electronic production and hybrid scoring techniques.

His work has received international recognition, including First Prize at the 2023 Indie Film Music Contest and First Prize at the 6th Xunguang Microcosm Competition (with a $40,000 award). He was also a finalist in the Berlin International Film Scoring Competition and placed 4th in the Leicine Film Scoring Competition.

Eric holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technology and Applied Composition from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a Master’s degree in Screen Scoring from the University of Southern California. Outside of scoring, Eric creates electronic music and playing Apex all the time.
