Devon Du graduated with a bachelor's degree in Cinema and Television from Hong Kong Baptist University and is pursuing her master's degree in Screen Scoring at New York University now. ​

As a musician, Devon has a diverse compositional style. She focuses on exploring the fusion of Eastern and Western music while excelling in jazz and orchestral scoring. She is also recognized by the Silicon Arts Beach Foundation in L.A..​

As a film director, her short film Hi,womb! (2022, writer, director and composer) against menstrual shame was honored as the best five short films and screened in the 9th Chongqing Youth Film Festival and was officially selected and screened in Oregon Independent Film Festival.

From film directing to film composing, Devon's diverse artistic experiences have fostered in her an open and inclusive attitude towards artistic creation. She aspires to use music to preserve culture, advocate for minority and marginalized groups, and explore new possibilities in filmmaking.
