About Chris
Christopher Belsey is a versatile film composer with over 15 years of experience in crafting scores across a wide array of genres. From full symphonic works to intimate soundscapes and small ensembles, Chris' music has shaped numerous cinematic experiences.
His recent projects include the upcoming horror drama The Baby in the Basket (2025), the love drama Fly Away to the Emerald Isle (2024), the action-packed Lock & Load (2023), and the eerie horror Nest of Vampires (2021). His collaborations with top-tier London musicians and renowned conductor/composer/orchestrator Ben Foster at the prestigious Air Studios have solidified Chris’ reputation as a composer with both technical skill and artistic vision.
Beyond films, Chris has produced over five library albums released through various production music labels, contributing to a broad range of media and commercial projects. A member of the Scottish Music Centre, Chris is also dedicated to sharing his knowledge, having led multiple masterclasses on film scoring for institutions such as the BFI Film Academy.
