Ivor Novello-nominated composer for video games, theatre, film and TV.

Mark is an Ivor Novello-nominated composer focused primarily on video games and theatre, with a background as a classically trained pianist from the Royal Academy of Music. He is a member of the 2025 BAFTA Breakthrough UK cohort and is represented by The Composerworks.
His latest work is the soundtrack for Pégases-winning and Gamescom-nominated Empire of the Ants by Tower Five (for which he garnered the Ivors nomination). Since 2015, he's also served as Resident Composer at Whole Hog Theatre, which predominantly draws from Japanese source material to create innovative anime-to-stage productions. He received an Offies nomination in 2023 for their latest adaptation, The Garden of Words, a film conjured up by one of anime's most beloved directors, Makoto Shinkai.
Mark has been nominated twice for a Game Music Remix Award (2021, 2023); additionally, in 2024, he was commissioned by Borislav Slavov to create a piano arrangement of Down By The River for the Baldur's Gate 3 Deluxe Edition Vinyl OST. He is also the founder of Sonaris Ensemble, a chamber quintet of musicians active in the video game world with a focus on arranging, performing, recording for and advocating for video game music.
