Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Mr. Watt is an award-winning composer whose diverse instrumentals reflect his eclectic musical journey. Self-taught on the synthesizer after a move to Cincinnati, he honed his craft by ear, drawing inspiration from legends like Stevie Wonder, George Duke, and Parliament, alongside hip-hop titans such as Pete Rock, RZA, and The Roots. This unique blend of influences allowed him to forge a distinct sound, initially gaining recognition as a hip-hop producer known for his emotion-driven arrangements during the genre's sample-based era.

With over two decades of experience in composing, arranging, recording, engineering, mixing, and sound design, Mr. Watt's refusal to be confined to a single genre has led him to create dynamic works spanning House, Orchestral, Dubstep, and Neo-Soul. His versatile scoring abilities have been featured in content for Amazon Video, Tubi, NBC, and VH1, in addition to the boxing game Thrill of the Fight 2 on Meta Quest. Now, with a music production degree under his belt, he's focused on new collaborations and continuing to impact the world through his music.
