Biography

Montreal‑based composer and multi‑instrumentalist, Luc Herrmann works in the space where orchestral color meets modern storytelling.

Trained at McGill (Jazz Performance) and the Film Scoring Academy of Europe (MFA), he has scored award‑nominated shorts and composed for games, recording from soloists to a 110‑piece orchestra and choir.

With a background in jazz and a passion for diverse musical styles, his work balances intimacy and scale—shifting from quiet, reflective moments to sweeping cinematic arcs—and blends subtle ambient textures with epic orchestral writing to elevate film and gaming narratives.
