About Axel
Axel Castro is a dedicated and passionate film composer with a relentless work ethic and a deep love for storytelling through music. He has been mentored by Greg Jamrok, CEO of Fine Line Music Service, and has assisted Grammy-nominated composer Esin Aydıngöz. Axel has written original music for over 15 films, collaborating closely with directors and editors to bring their visions to life through score. He has also supported recording sessions at the Eastwood Scoring Stage for projects featuring acclaimed composers such as Jeff Russo, gaining invaluable insight into the professional scoring process. Known for his positive attitude, professionalism, and collaborative spirit, Axel has proven to be a kind, respectful, and committed collaborator and is always looking to put his best foot forward in anything he does. His ultimate goal is to grow into a leading voice in film music, and he is eager to learn from his colleagues in the music for film and TV community as he continues moving forward in the industry.
