Biography

A Composer, Audio Engineer, and Studio Technician,

Currently based in LA, Jacky loves creating contemporary and emotional film scores by incorporating original soundscapes and the orchestra. Recently, he contributed additional music and orchestration for the Spanish feature Los Futbolísimos 2. He was also nominated for the Young Talent Award at the Krakow Film Music Festival, which ultimately led to the opportunity to meet with Daniel Pemberton and study under the guidance of Miriam Cutler. He was selected as a finalist in the Chigiana International Film Scoring Competition as well.

In addition to writing music, he was also an audio engineer for Quad Studios NYC and James L. Dolan Studio. He was the lead recording engineer for the single Coffee Roaster, written by Dewey Huang and Eden Witvoet. He has also recorded many classical musicians for auditioning for the Cliburn International Piano Competition, the International Chopin Piano Competition, and PhD programs.

While completing his Graduate degree in film scoring at NYU, he studied with Chris Hajian, Mark Suozzo, Justin Dello JoioEric V. Hachikian, Shruti Kumar, and Alba S. Torremocha, which ultimately led to their collaboration.
