Dusan Maksimovski is a Croatian music composer and sound designer from Zagreb. Dusan was born 1979 in Rijeka (Croatia) and grew up in Podgorica (Montenegro). He spent his first college days in Novi Sad (Serbia) and then moved back to Croatia to study theology at Evangelical Theological Seminary in Osijek during which he also took a course in church music.
Since childhood, he showed interest in music and art in general. He started with professional music and sound design career in 2005 in Zagreb working on the short animated movie "Silencium" which was screened at official internal competition at Anima Fest Zagreb in 2006.
Since then he worked on many short and feature films as well as multimedia projects and had many international collaborations as both Music Score Composer and Sound Designer. In 2019 alongside his colleagues Dario Domitrovic and Dominik Krnjak, he was awarded with Golden Arena for Best Sound at Pula Film Festival (Film F20). He was also nominated for Best Sound: all categories at 4th Anatomy: Crime&Horror International film festival, Athens 2020.
