



Zackary is a media and concert composer based in Los Angeles, CA, with experience in writing for concert band, big band, studio orchestra, and various chamber ensembles. He fell in love with composing sophomore year of high school and hasn’t stopped writing since. His music draws from an eclectic range of inspirations, from traditional music to jazz and every style of classical. Some of his compositional influences include John Williams, Gustav Holst, Alexandre Desplat, and Frank Erickson.
He is an alumni of California State University Northridge with a B.M. in Commercial and Media Writing. He arranged and conducted as a Studio Ensemble arranger at CSUN, from 2022-24, and served as a teaching assistant. Zackary has also performed as a trombonist in the CSUN Wind Ensemble and Jazz B Band as well as in the Studio Ensemble. Zackary is an Eagle Scout, and in his free time enjoys playing video games, hiking, and folding origami.
