Isaac Messerschmidt, from Cape Elizabeth, Maine, grew up in a family filled with musicians and vocalists. His journey with music started early, at age four, when he first played the piano. This musical environment shaped his love for diverse sounds and influences.
During his school years, Isaac played the trumpet in various ensembles, from Wind Symphony to Jazz Ensembles. He later attended Dickinson College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in 2020.
Isaac's passion for music led him to explore composition. Inspired by his background in Pop, Jazz, and Classical music, he began writing original piano pieces in high school. However, it was during the solitude of quarantine in 2020 that Isaac's focus on film composition took shape.
Isaac's dedication led him to Berklee College of Music, where he was accepted into the Master of Music in Film Scoring program. His time at Berklee allowed him to work with the Budapest Orchestra, creating orchestral and hybrid scores that added depth to cinematic experiences.
Isaac continues to develop his craft, aiming to connect with audiences through his music. With each composition, he strives to create an emotional impact, contributing to the evolving world of film music.
