Biography

Tahnee Bryant is a composer and audio professional specializing in music for linear media, with a background that bridges formal composition training and game development. With a Bachelor’s degree in Music Composition and minors in Recording Arts and Japanese, Tahnee combines structural fluency, technical precision, and emotional storytelling to craft music that supports narrative, atmosphere, and character-driven moments.

Formally trained in large ensemble composition, choral arranging, conducting, and global instrumentation, Tahnee’s work is grounded in a strong understanding of form, orchestration, and musical architecture across multiple cultures. Her academic studies emphasized both historical analysis and contemporary application, resulting in a unique compositional voice that balances clarity of structure for musicians with expressive nuance for audiences. Whether writing for piano, chamber ensemble, voice, or full orchestral textures, Tahnee approaches each piece with an ear for intentionality and dramatic pacing.

In addition to her musical training, Tahnee brings over three years of experience in AAA game development and quality assurance, having contributed to major titles and large-scale technical systems globally. This background informs a highly collaborative, detail-oriented approach to composition with the ability to work with anyone in the creative or technical field with ease. Having worked closely with cross-disciplinary teams—including designers, engineers, and production departments—Tahnee understands the production realities of media pipelines and composes with implementation, clarity of communication, and revision workflows in mind.

Tahnee’s musical style often blends cinematic orchestration with modern textural elements, emphasizing thematic development, emotional authenticity, and strong melodic identity. Influenced by both traditional compositional techniques and contemporary interactive scoring philosophies, her work aims to elevate storytelling without overwhelming it.

Conversational in French and Japanese, Tahnee brings a global cultural sensitivity to her creative process and a deep respect for the human elements at the heart of compelling media.

Through her music, Tahnee seeks to support directors, developers, and storytellers by creating scores that feel intentional, immersive, and deeply connected to the emotional core of each project.
