JOSH CAVAZOS has a passion for creating music that takes listeners on an all immersive, encompassing, and emotional journey. At age 15, he began composing music in response to his grandmother undergoing successful cancer treatment. He has written, arranged, and produced countless pieces throughout his career, and has released 5 solo albums. Josh is inspired as a composer by large scale ideas and global relief efforts that are most dear to him. His goal is to provide a musical outlet of hope, joy, and peace to the world around him.

In the summer of 2023, Josh was awarded the Artist Grant by the City of San Antonio, to produce and compose the score to Prayers For Cassie, a mini documentary that benefits cancer therapy. This new doc released in the Spring of 2025 and features a duet track between Josh and Tina Guo, solo cellist to Hans Zimmer. Prayers For Cassie is their Anthem of Hope in The Fight Against Cancer. The official documentary score soundtrack released in Summer 2025.

Josh has written custom music scores for over 75 media productions, including co-composing the new season of Tetelestai The Journey, a Brazil based series in 2023, scoring The 13 Day Prayer Challenge in 2022, among other projects. Josh released The Adonai Prayer Soundtrack last spring, and his soundtrack to Tetelestai released in August 2024.

Josh’s independent composition, The Cure, was released as a cinematic presentation in 2023 and honors those whose lives have been lost to Covid-19.
