






Jonah Sauve is a video game and film composer, sound designer, and percussionist. His complex melodies and audio can transport you to another world. Jonah creates a wide variety of music from bombastic orchestral pieces to beautiful synthetic sounds. His pieces have been performed at numerous venues and attached to multiple animations and video games.
Jonah has worked on multiple award-winning CalArts projects, including “Play with Me”, “Tales and Paws”, and “Monster Slayers”, among others. On these projects, Jonah was creating either original compositions, sound design or both. He is also actively working on an indie game called Immunoblast, utilizing his sound design and musical skills. Here he is collaborating with a team of programmers and artists to help create a game from scratch. Not only is Jonah an accomplished composer and sound designer, but he is also proficient in audio implementation using middleware such as Wwise and FMOD. Jonah is using these skills as the lead audio implementer and designer on the Immunoblast project.
Along with his compositions, Jonah is a classically trained percussionist with a passion for learning other instruments. He is proficient in piano, saxophone, guitar, and bass guitar, in addition to his percussion abilities. Jonah has been playing percussion for 13 years and has performed alongside professional orchestras, including the Syracuse Orchestra. He continues to improve his percussion performing skills as a percussion minor at his University.
Jonah is currently pursuing his B.M. in the Music for New Media program at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. Here, he studies with many professionals of the industry, like James T. Sale, Chris Kennedy, Colton Dodd, and Thomas Dolby. He is currently in his junior year and is on track to graduate in 2027.
