Pete is a highly adaptable and forward-thinking composer, sound designer and producer, based in South Wales, beginning his career as a keyboard player over 30 years ago. Operating under the banner of Jamyama Studios, he produces a distinct mix of licence ready production music, custom scores and audio featuring synth backbones, heavy orchestral riffs through to melodic ambiences with myriad rich atmospheric textures and ground-shaking tremors.

Discovery and progression are vital, not being afraid to pull things apart, mix it all up and experiment, while recognising the need for space. Enabling stories to be told, to breathe and to flourish. Creating those atmospheres and instances that reach out to an audience is a true passion.

Living deep in the heart of the South Wales Valleys is an endless source of inspiration. Never short of fresh air, green open spaces and a natural compulsion to explore.

His music has recently been placed with TF1 and TFX terrestrial channels in France and he has provided music and sound effects for an array of local television, advertising, corporate videos, and online media.

Pete is also a Freelance Union Learning Representative (ULR) for The Musicians Union in the UK and works closely with other ULR members of BECTU, Equity and The Writers Guild.
