Jason Tse is a composer, music producer, and guitarist based in Hong Kong. His musical journey began when he picked up his father’s nylon string guitar and has since never looked back.
Drawing on a wide range of influences—film scores, rock, electronica, neoclassical and jazz—his work is emotionally driven, atmospheric, and sits at the intersection of electronic and acoustic sounds.
Always having been drawn to deep emotional sounds, he entered the world of composing for films in 2017 and has since worked on many feature films, TV shows, documentaries, and
advertisements. In 2018, he began collaborating with award-winning composer Yusuke Hatano, working on films like Dynasty Warriors 真三國無雙 (2021), The Moon Thieves 盜月者 (2024), Beyond the Sin 惡行之外 (2025) and The Mage 拾荒法師 (2026).
More recently, he scored the award-winning box office hit, Four Trails (2025), which continues to be shown around the world.
He also serves as a resident composer at Melodise Music Agency, creating scores for Singaporean TV shows like Khloe (2021), Night Watchers (2022), “Mummy” from After Dark Season 2 (2022), and Drive Safe (2025).
