If you're working on something that could use a musical voice, I’d love to be part of the journey.
Alina Childers is a composer, sound designer, and audio engineer from Pennsylvania, currently completing her dual degree in Music Technology and Music Composition at Temple University. She is an incoming graduate student at NYU, where she will pursue a Master’s in Screen Scoring. With a foundation in orchestral writing and a deep interest in electronic music, Alina specializes in blending acoustic and synthesized sounds to create emotionally rich, cinematic scores for film, video games, and digital media.
She has composed original music for student films, personal game demos, and multimedia projects, and has hands-on experience in audio recording, post-production, and live electronic performance. Her work draws from a broad palette, combining classical orchestration, modular synthesis, and styles such as jazz, indie rock, and folk, often combining acoustic and digital textures together in innovative ways.
In addition to her musical pursuits, Alina engages in illustration, piano performance, creative coding, and writing, bringing a multidisciplinary perspective to her storytelling. Her background in both the creative and technical sides of music production allows her to bridge artistic vision with practical execution. Looking ahead, she hopes to work in video game and film scoring, where she can continue building immersive, emotionally resonant sound worlds.
