
Gabriel de Leon is a media composer with an intensive musical background, having been raised by musical parents. He has emerged as one of Malaysia's brightest musicians today, and was offered a place to study at Berklee College of Music with a scholarship. Studying Contemporary Writing & Production and Jazz Composition, Gabriel incorporates his classical and jazz upbringings, as well as pop, R&B, rock and metal influences into his work.
Now based in Los Angeles CA, Gabriel is an embarking on a composer's journey working on films, TV shows, video games and music libraries. He has credits with established composers such as Henry Jackman, and has played important roles in Emmy-winning projects with David Bertok, Joy Ngiaw as orchestrator and violinist respectively. He is also a frequent collaborator with Gareth.T, a Hong Kong-based Cantonese pop artist.
Gabriel is also a regular session violinist/violist who records remotely.
