Katherine Beggs is a composer from Los Angeles, California.  She is classically trained in piano and composition.  As a multi-faceted artist, Katherine is film composer, songwriter, music producer, and sound designer.  She has scored numerous films such as “Dr. Z” that have been featured in festivals, including the Oscar and BAFTA qualifying festival: LA Shorts International Film Festival.   Katherine is currently scoring the feature film“Bellyache,” directed by Van Ditthavong. She is an incoming Society of Lyricist and Composers Mentee for the 2024-2025 season.
