Biography

With a musical background influenced equally by John Williams and Trent Reznor, as well as membership in two punk rock marching bands (Chicago’s “Mucca Pazza” and LA’s “Killsonic”), Greg has a passion for using music to tell stories in unexpected ways. His scores have screened at the Sundance and Toronto Film Festivals, and on Showtime, Disney, Netflix, and HBO.

Despite success scoring live action features Greg's career took a pivot into animation following a collaboration with songwriter Rob Cantor. Four Disney series and an animated Netflix feature later, Greg is firmly established as one of the go-to composers in the animation space for delivering cinematic orchestral scores with signature sound palettes and unforgettable themes.

Greg is also a composer for video games. His most recent game, Potionomics, featured over 80 musicians, including the Grammy nominated cellist Tina Guo. It was nominated for the first ever World Soundtrack Award for "video game score of the year," as well as 3 Game Audio Network Guild awards.

His recent projects include Netflix's Dr. Seuss's The Sneetches, Disney's Pupstruction, and in the live action world, the WW2 Drama Enemy No More and the horror film Dead of Night.

Greg lives in Los Angeles with his wife Jessica and son Julian, and indulges in far too much coffee and cherry pie.
