The High North is a piece inspired by the mystery and danger of the regions deep in Northern hemisphere. It is the opening to suite that dives deep into the vast oceans, beautiful landscapes and the great dangers of the mythical northern world.

This piece is composed to the brief of a fantasy medieval video game. I wanted to use a mixture of both organic, lush synths and folk instrumentation. The client version is capable of looping seamlessly.

"Under the waves" is a piece that reflects the beauty of the ocean. I imagine a story where you venture through a deep jungle, only to find a stunning hidden cove with a beautiful coast.

An ambient piece inspired by Vangelis' "Blade Runner" score.

"Night in the City" is a piece partially inspired by the film "Taxi Driver", composed by Bernard Herrmann and Blade Runner, composed by Vangelis, whilst still retaining my original voice in the music. It gives a sense of night time in a busy city.

"Icescape" is a piece composed for the Stage 5 ISA schools 2021 national composition competition, UK. It was deemed Highly Commended and came third place in the competition. It is a piece that reflects a story that takes place in an Ice filled landscape, however the music is designed for further interpretation by the listener and it could be used for many different forms of media.

There was once a tale where two partners and venture into a dark forest, where they are called deeper into its shadow. They spot a glimpse of light and sprit towards it, only to find a rushing river that blocks their path. As they push on through the rushing water, they find themselves dancing in a natural, sunlit spotlight surrounded by the wild beauty of the forest. A Waltz in the Woods is a piece that tells this tale, conveying the ambience of the forest whilst capturing the emotions of the two as they dance with destiny.

Music from Notebook Rescore. I wrote a song as I felt it was appropriate for this specific scene in the movie. It aims to tell us exactly what is going through her head while immersing us further into the scene.

Music from "Moon" Rescore. With this cue, I took a less is more approach and hoped to bring out the emptiness of space whilst still keeping a human touch to the music.

This work was an experiment where I blended different ambient drones together to create something larger. It could reflect many different moments in film or game, but I like to think it's the calm before the storm.

"Chase the Stars" is a song about going beyond. It tells the story of someone who continues to pursue their dream.
