Biography

Before coming to Berklee, I was a classical/contemporary performer- as an oboist/English Hornist I played in Orchestras, Wind Ensembles, Chamber groups, All-state bands/orchestras- the list goes on. I also operated my own Oboe Studio, teaching local middle school students beginning/intermediate oboe.

in my Junior year of high school, while exploring careers in music, I began composing. I quickly realized I loved getting to write my own music, and strived to write music inspired by the works of my favorite composers. I decided to pursue a career in Film/Media/Game scoring as it combined my love of music with my love of film/games and the interdisciplinary arts- contributing to art pieces that live forever.  My senior year, I applied and auditioned for the Berklee College of Music- my dream school. Two weeks after my audition, I found out I got in on a Full-Tuition Scholarship!

God willing, thats when I knew this was what I was meant to do- Music!

I am now in my fourth semester at Berklee, and have officially declared my majors. I'm on track to earn a Film and Media scoring degree and a Contemporary Writing and Production degree (a lot of words haha!). I am active in the recording world as I am currently employed under the Berklee Screen Scoring department to record oboe/english horn on student film/game score projects- alongside the student projects I record on for fun. I also still regularly perform, in ensembles such as The Berklee Motion Picture Soundtrack Orchestra, The Berklee Symphonic Wind Ensemble, The Berklee Qantara Ensemble, various community and student-led orchestras/projects, etc.

Whether performing, producing, composing , or scoring- I'm excited for all my future projects and all the people I will get to meet and work with. I can't wait for all the stories I will have the honor of helping to tell.
