Composer and pianist Eli Baumgarten combines his background in jazz piano with his distinct voice in classical, orchestral and electronic textures to create expressive and emotionally penetrating scores for film and TV. Eli is highly collaborative in his approach alongside filmmakers, with the mission to tell deeper stories. 

As a pianist, Eli has performed and written for a variety of ensembles, including the Thompson Concert Jazz Ensemble, the Sydney Conservatorium Jazz Orchestra, and multiple small groups. Eli is currently active with his self-titled modern jazz trio, occasionally featuring chamber strings.
